He is on the executive board of the Bombay Ophthalmologists Association and is also a member of several other medical honor societies. He has been a guest speaker at various conferences and seminars across the globe. Always innovative, he has brought the latest and best eye treatments from overseas, time and again, establishing his name and value in society.
He holds a unique distinction of operating on 50 single-eyed patients, whose other eye was non-functional or blind, for cataract surgery in one day.
